A few general comments before we get to the latest pictures:
1) At the risk of getting ridiculed from the Central and Eastern time zones, it's actually not as warm here as I thought it'd be. Maybe we're getting soft already.
2) We had very few casualties with our household goods move. Almost everything (with the exception of a broken clay sculpture and a few scratches on the furniture) arrived just as it left us almost a month ago.
3) In an effort to assimilate to our new Californian home, we bought a motor-less lawn mower. I don't think we'll be joining the protesters outside the Air Force base though (...something about how launching rockets harms the seals).
