Our back yard...

One of the draws for us renting our home was the back yard. Of all the places we looked at, none of them had any kind of space to be outside and enjoy solitude. That was one of the clinchers for me at this place.

It is not a super back yard... our grass is not anything of the kind, it's weeds mowed off; not to mention the nightly visitors, (a mole or two, and at least one gopher). Yes, Eric already killed one of each. But it is a great location still, and we are working in small ways to make it better. A veggie garden, and a few potted plants on the patio are a start; and of course Eric's battles with the dual diggers is entertaining all on it's own. Although I know that he is not so humored by the rodents.

So, here are the slight improvements that we have made to the back yard.
