Fire just over the hill!
Ok, actually that's just the sun coming up this morning. But sunrises don't normally have this kind of color, unless there's a lot of smoke in the air, like today. I feel a little heavy-hearted by joking about these fires. It's not a pleasant thing for many southern Californians right now. But that isn't going to stop me from enjoying a gorgeous sunrise.
And yes, we're fine (with the exception of a few warnings at work asking that all outdoor physical activities cease for a few days). I wonder if the local agriculture workers are stopping work...
Speaking of agriculture, our lone tomato plant has produced easily over 100 tomatoes this year (with at least 25-30 still green). That can't be normal, can it? Salsa anyone?
