There's so much more to the story, but as of 4:31 this morning, we have a spectacular new daughter. In a nutshell, it was one of the most amazing experiences we've ever had. But it was also long and disheartening at times. But most amazingly, when there seemed to be little hope of good results, God worked in countless mighty and tangible ways to keep us out of the operating room. And thus we have a beautiful healthy princess in Anna Elizabeth and a healthy (though tired and sore) mom.
Vitals:
Weight - 8 lbs 2 oz
Length - 20.5 inches
And yes, she sleeps a lot as the pictures would suggest...

A GIRL! She's beautiful - congratulations you two. Mandy, I'm sure you were fantastic, and Eric, I'm sure you were right by her side the whole time. I'll bet you've never worked so much as a team in your life - and now you have a daughter to show for it! Can't wait to see more pictures, but get some (well deserved!) sleep first!
Congrats again!!

Wow, a girl! What a lovely little face she has. So sweet. We'll pray for a swift recovery for mom.
Congratulations! Love her name too. I've been checking out your blog ever since Eric announced you were expecting.

So the Lemans are a little late to comment, but WAY TO GO! Girls rock! Jen says she looks like a Hoelmer. Can't wait to hear the rest of the story.
