Contrary to popular belief, the central coast of California is not really all that warm. Our average summer time temp is in the lower 70's. Yes, you read that right. So as you can imagine swimming out of doors is not all that appealing until we have a "heat wave" in the mid 80's. This past weekend was a good time to go, and although it was a little windy, it was great fun (and it satisfied Anna's pool itch for the time being!).
