Little man jammin'

I love listening to the kids strum the guitar...they have no expectations, no preconceived notions that it MUST sound like something. They just play the strings, listen to sound and feel vibrations. They don't care who's listening, or taking their picture, or beating out a nonsense rhythm on the bed...they just find joy in play, experiencing their world, and growing through it all.

Sigh...we adults have lost that. We care to much for the good opinion of others to chance anything of the kind. To bad. I wonder what we miss because we're worried over what others will think? Or even miss what God has for us?  Do I care what you think? Far to much. Do I care what God thinks? Far to little. If we would jump into his commitment of loving his son, and followed him, what then? Who's good opinion am I searching for?

If I followed Christ with as much joy as Ben plays the guitar...what would become of me? My frightened, redeemed heart jumps to find out.
