So, for a little while I had been wanting a place to put a chalk board that was visible for our family...someplace for special notes to people, verses, quotes or lyrics, but I had a slight problem. There didn't seem to be a place to put such a board (a small one would have worked, but I think it would have looked pitiful.) After a brief survey, the best place was right on the pantry door. Enter painters tape, chalkboard paint and wall paint. All leftovers from other projects.
In the past every time we've had rollers out for painting Anna has wanted to help, and up until this project we've really had to say no. Wow did she have fun! And if there's room at the bottom of the chalk board, guess who loves to fill it in with her own "writing" or drawings? Well, you probably don't have to guess.
