A few weeks ago we took a little trip to a local waterfall that has a quarter mile hike to it. It was a good distance for the kids as they felt good about what they were able to do. They even had enough energy to play at the playground that was near the parking lot when we got back to the car...so maybe next time we need a hike that's a little longer!
