This gem of a chair was a hand-me-down years ago from a friend who no longer needed it. We have always loved the size of the chair as it is very comfortable but yet not to overstuffed. Well, it was decision time. The chair's fabric was very worn, dirty and there was a wire sticking up into the seat cushion from the springs underneath. Get rid of it or try reupholstering it? I guess I was itching for a giant puzzle as I decided to pull it apart and see what we could do with it. Thanks to Mom Hoelmer for the JoAnns gift card which bought the fabric, I only spent an extra $30 for the remaining supplies and we have a nice, comfy, updated and fixed chair. By the way...I will probably never decide to do this type of project again! Whew!
