Pie

This might seem like a silly thing to Blog about but I'm going to anyway.
Today I made my first successful pie.

The story behind this statement can be summarized with a short story.
Almost three years ago, runny berry pie juice found it's way onto the back seat of a friend's car. Thinking all was lost for the back seat, I apologized several times, only to have him call and say he got the juice out. Not only did he still propose and marry me, now he says that I have learned a few things about pies since that day and today's pie is excellent (with a good crust too!)!

Silly, yet satisfying. I'm content.
