Graduating to Freedom

One of my co-workers says that over the past weeks I've been graduating to the most freeing time in a military career. The movers have the household goods, I'm about to sign out of the current station, and my only responsibility is to get me and my family from point A to point B. Low responsibility (and a sweet 9-day vacation to boot)!

I'm still a little bit in shock though. First, because all our stuff is gone (I need to learn to truly believe that it's just stuff with no eternal value). And second, because the movers came and packed/loaded our entire 2-bedroom apartment in just over 5 hours. Phenomenal.

Just about packed...

Fully loaded...off it goes...

And then time to celebrate with a little Nintendo on the floor. Which was followed by dinner on the floor, reading on the floor, and sleeping on the floor (with an air mattress of course).
