This weekends hike was our fourth. It was not a difficult hike, but it was a lot of fun. Just to the north of Santa Bardara there are several places that have a beautiful view of the Santa Barbara valley, the Channel Islands and the Pacific. One of these hikes with a view is called the Playground, and it is well named. The hike to get to the Playground was an easy seven tenths of a mile, but the fun we had climbing over huge boulders (and climbing a few trees) once we got there was well worth the short entrance hike.
