Summer Hiking in the New York State Adirondacks is beautiful. This last weekend we found a well marked trail, a bunny rabbit that was willing to be pet, some fishing, a few rain storms and a little down time to enjoy creation. However, beautiful as Bear Lake is, we found (or maybe they found us) a few leeches hovering near our feet, visiting I'm sure. Then, time to hike back to reality.
Viewing the trail map later on we saw all kinds of hikes that we are thinking about doing. The only problem is, summer is only so long and we'll probably run out of time. Ahhhh!

And I've decreed that there are no fish in that lake (larger than 4 inches long anyway).
I didn't use any leeches for bait though, so...
Lunkers love leeches.
(Don't ask.)
